Active Highs is ideally located to offer outdoor activities for your Scout Camp near Fort William or Fort Augustus. There is a fully serviced Scout camp at Spean Bridge, which makes a great base for an adventurous weekend or week camp. There are also other locations in the Great Glen.

We have a wide range of activities to entertain your group during a visit, and can offer full week-long packages, half-day or full-day activity options.

Safety & Experience

Active Highs is a fully ALLA-registered organisation and takes safety very seriously, while still ensuring there is a sense of adventure and challenge. It’s the adventure that offers the challenge, and rising to the challenge is what leaves us with a sense of satisfaction.

We believe that an outdoor experience for a young person can teach them skills for life, instil confidence & most of all make them smile.

Active Highs hold a current AALA licence. This means that we are inspected once per year and our policies, procedures, staff and equipment are all looked at. This also allows Active Highs to keep up to date with current best practices in the industry.

What To Bring?

Swimsuit and Synthetic Shirt – Comfortable even when wet if rafting or paddleboarding.
Secure Footwear – Shoes must stay on your feet with straps or laces. Leave the flip-flops at home.
Sunscreen – Protect your skin from the sun’s rays.
Positive Attitude – Get ready for fun and adventure!

LOCATION

GROUP SIZE

We are able to take groups of up to 40 for white water rafting, 24 for gorge walking and canyoning and up to 30 for canoeing and kayaking. We may split your group into smaller, more manageable groups to ensure safety and a good experience.
