From gentle family fun trips to adrenaline-pumping grade 3 & 4 white water action! With weekly scheduled releases of water from the dam throughout the season (April to October), we can offer you the best guaranteed white water rafting experience in the UK!

If you are unable to make it to one of the scheduled dam release days, then take a look at our white water funyakking trips instead, that are also available on the River Garry in lower water conditions.

About White Water Rafting in Scotland

White water rafting in Scotland is world-class given the right water levels. Scotland boasts a fantastic selection of white water rivers that are great for rafting. Active Highs runs white water rafting trips near Fort William & Inverness and has access to some of the best rivers in the country.

Most of our white water rafting trips are run on dam-release rivers such as the River Garry, which is 25 miles from Fort William & 45 miles from Inverness.

Who Can Go White Water Rafting?

All are welcome to come rafting with Active Highs: families, couples, individuals, stag groups, hen parties, youth groups and charity events.
