Invergarry collection & Drop-off Service Trial
Scotland is such an awesome place to live, work and play, and that is partly due to its sparser population and fewer towns and cities than in other parts of the UK. However, with that, it can make it more difficult to get to some places if you don’t have a car.
Sustainable Transport Options for Customers
At Active Highs (and In Your Element), we’ve always focused on sustainability, integrating that mindset into everything we do, wherever we can. And, with that in mind, we are now trialling a collection service for Whitewater Rafting Customers.
Our whitewater venue is the River Garry, which runs through the village of Invergarry. For those without a vehicle of their own, getting a bus to Invergarry from Inverness or Fort William, then upriver to the meeting point, would be a bit of a trek.
So, Active Highs is now offering a collection service from the bus stop for Whitewater Rafting customers arriving in Invergarry by bus. This can be booked as an optional extra (free of charge) when booking tickets. Our driver will collect you before the session and drop you back off in Invergarry after you’ve had some whitewater fun.
Public Transport Service to Invergarry
Two bus companies are running the Inverness to Fort William route now, including the very environmentally-friendly Ember electric bus service, and the long-established Citylink 919 service.
You can see the relevant bus times by linking to this document (correct at the time of this blog post), but please ensure the times work before booking. The times highlighted in red are the ones that work with the rafting sessions.
We hope to roll out this trial to other activities for the River Garry, but let’s see how we get on with this first.
If you need any help or advice, do get in touch before booking, if need be.
