River Rafting Safari & Family White Water Rafting (3 hrs)
Experience rafting in a more relaxed way on a family-friendly, river rafting safari trip in the iconic Great Glen. Our river rafting tours are run on the River Oich, which is fed from Loch Oich and meanders down the glen until it empties into the southern end of Loch Ness. This trip is a fantastic, fun adventure with something for everyone, including some beautiful Highland scenery and small rapids up to grade 2. Our Rafting Safari trip is a great way to experience the river without the adrenaline-fueled rapids of our white water rafting trip on the River Garry. So, if you are looking for a nice trip down the river with scenery, wildlife and fun, then this is for you!
Family White Water Rafting – Great For Younger Kids at least 5 years old
This river rafting safari is an ideal introductory experience for families wanting to find out what white water rafting is all about. This is for participants with a minimum age of 5 years old, and adults looking for a gentle introduction to rafting. If you have kids over 8 years old and are looking for a more adventurous trip, then check out our River Garry whitewater rafting trip, suitable for families with older kids and teenagers.
You will meet at our Fort Augustus hub, where you will get changed, then transported to the river start point. On your return to Fort Augustus, there will be a short walk back to the meeting point, to get changed before departing.
