Where Can You Go Kayaking?
- Experience a day kayaking on a section of the Great Glen Canoe Trail and Caledonian Canal, paddling canal sections and open water lochs. Immerse yourself in your surroundings, the activity and nature, taking a break from day-to-day life.
- Go Nessie Hunting on mighty Loch Ness, the biggest and one of the deepest bodies of water in the United Kingdom.
- Watch out for the local wildlife on the west coast around Loch Moidart, or Arisaig. Take a picnic and stretch your legs on a white sandy beach.
- Island hop in the Summer Isles, where you are unlikely to see anyone else on the water all day.

ACTIVITY DETAILS
WHAT’S INCLUDED
- All specialist equipment, including paddles and a spraydeck.
- Buoyancy aids & helmet if required.
- Professional Instruction.
- Wetsuits are not provided because they are generally very uncomfortable to paddle in. If you have your own, you are welcome to bring it along. We can provide paddling waterproofs on request.
- We will provide hot drinks and a snack.
- Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and something to drink for the day.
SUITABILITY
- The minimum age for our kayaking tours is 14 years old.
- We have solo and tandem kayaks, so participants have a choice.
- Participants must be able to get in and out of the kayak unaided.
- Non-swimmers can participate, but please advise us prior to your trip.
- Please advise us of any medical conditions that we may need to be aware of.
ITINERARY
- Once we have agreed on a plan, we will provide the meeting instructions.
- Once kitted up, you will receive a short safety briefing before getting on the water to explore..
- Bring an old pair of trainers that will get wet, suitable for walking on uneven and rocky ground.
- A large towel and a change of clothes.
LOCATION
Once we have agreed a plan for your outing, we will provide details about where to meet and how to get there.

- This experience will last from 2 to 5 hours, depending on your plans for the day
