White Water Kayaking Experience (2.5 hrs)

Experience White water Kayaking in Scotland by paddling our inflatable white water kayaks either by yourself or with a partner and navigate the river under instruction from one of professional river guides. We will teach you the basic skills required to paddle and steer your boat and help you to negotiate the rapids. White water kayaking is also known as white water funyaking and is a more involved way of enjoying the river as you are a lot closer to the action and in control of your own destiny! A great alternative to white water rafting or to build on your canoeing skills in a fun environment!

About White Water Funyakking

White water Funyakking is a fun alternative to white water rafting and a great introduction to white water kayaking, in a very stable and forgiving inflatable white water kayak. You and your paddling partner will navigate the river under the guidance of one of our professional river guides, who will teach you the basic skills required to negotiate the rapids. White water kayaking is a more involved way of enjoying the river, as you are a lot closer to the action and in control of your own destiny!

Suitability

Minimum age 8 years with a participating adult or 12 years without
No previous experience required
Non-swimmers can participate.

Itinerary And What To Bring

The activity experience will last 2.5 hrs.
You will meet at the Glen Garry Car Park (Forestry and Land Scotland), near Invergarry – details will be provided.
Here you will be fitted with all specialist equipment.
We will then raft the river, having lots of fun along the way.
Please bring swimwear to wear underneath the wetsuit.
Bring a towel.

LOCATION

Our funyakking trips take place on the River Garry near the town of Invergarry. You will meet us in the Foresty and Land Scotland, public car park in Glen Garry, just off the A87 road.
